EDUCATION CS TO FACE THE SENATE OVER EXAM IRREGULARITIES.

The chairperson of the senate committee on education who also doubles as the senator for Muranga has called on a fight with the ministry of education over the recently released KNEC examinations which were termed to have been filled with malice and massive cheating.

senator Joe Nyutu has declared plans to have the ministry and its officials probed and give a clear answer on the integrity of those exams. According to the senator, the senate will summon the officials to the house to unearth the truth regarding the credibility and the process in which the exams were administered.

Ezekiel Machogu released the KCSE results last week Friday. The results raised many questions in social media due to the abnormality of the curves and other logic in the said papers. Some schools registered an unimagined rise in the standard mean score which brought a public outcry across the nation.

The senator who is also a former teacher urged Kenyans to remain calm and patient as they institute the process of vindicating the claims by the Kenyans.

The results showed a total of 1146 As compared to 1138As from the previous years. Some of the big names in history have bounced back to the top during the exams.  According to majority of Kenyans Most of As originated from Machogus tribe kisii .

The ministry has refuted the claims that there were no any reported cases of cheating and the claims raised were by attention seekers who need to spoil the good reputation of the ministry.
