Over the last few days education systems in the country have been stormed with surprises in the name of reforms. This is after the approval of the education task force recommendations to the president. According to the recommendation, the general sponsorship of all the students admitted to both public and private institutions has been scrapped off. The government has introduced a new financing model based on one's ability to pay the school fee. The parents will now be expected to part with unexpected amounts for their children to sail through University Education. The government will only offer scholarships to the students admitted at Public institutions while those in private are left to manuvre on their own being left with the option of applying for only government loans. In the recent remarks by The Education Cabinet Secretary Dr. Machongu, all the candidates who scored C+ and above will have a chance to apply and Join the University of their choice.
