Done and dusted

 UDA candidate in Kyome Thaana elections for the MCA has been floored and dusted by the wiper candidate in the recent concluded by election.

According to the news reaching our desk  The UDA candidate Gedion Munyithya has been showed the gate out by Alphonce Musyimi Mukwayu  with threefold number of votes. The IEBC has declared Mukwayu the winner of the concluded election after garnering 2365 votes followed by an Indipendent candidate Joyce David  1495 votes then the UDA candidate came a distance third with 784 votes. 

The race had attracted more than 10 candidates with the rest of the candidates garning less than 780 votes.

This was a brushing battle bearing in mind that is was a battle of the leading party in the country and the party lead by the Kamba kingpin. The win for the wiper candidate is a statement of stamping the authority by the party leader across the region and eliminate any other party which Might look as a treat to Him . It is also a way of strengthening the party in the assembly and ensure that the wiper government in Kitui county has a smooth run .

The election in the said ward was postponed after the death of one of the candidates.

 Over the last few days education systems in the country have been stormed with surprises in the name of reforms. This is after the approval of the education task force recommendations to the president. According to the recommendation, the general sponsorship of all the students admitted to both public and private institutions has been scrapped off.
