INSIDE RUTOS PLAN TO BLOCK AZIMIO FROM WESTERN AHEAD OF 2027

 President william Ruto is already totting together his fallback strategy for 2027 by energizing regions that have in the past voted for Azimio kingpin overwhelmingly.

Ruto appears not to be taking any chance with his bid for reelection in  2027 and he is now coaurting Nyanza and western regions. He is being backed up by a very ambitious deputy and has learned from his political relationship with former president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Immediately after taking over the office, the president  has visited the lake region severally and has made several promises to the residents including the revival of projects abandoned by former governments, building significant roads and also building affordable housing.

His recent meeting with  some Nyanza legislators and another meeting in the region by the Deputy president Riggy G has been pointed as one of the ways Ruto is using to win the desires of these vote blocks associated with the opposition Leader Raila Odinga.

President has committed to allocate billions of money to fund development projects in the western. This was after a consultative meeting in njaruary with the leaders from the region . The meeting was president over by the prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi and National Assembly Moses wetangula who are seen as the political heavyweights in the Western.

Political analysts claim that this is a backup plan for Ruto in case the mountain chose to betray him to re run for the presidency . Stories are having it that the deputy president is trying to consolidate his political base and might chose to run against his boss in the 2027 election . This is after he rallied his legislators from backyard to support Kanini kega and others  to their bid to become Legislative Assembly of the East Africa.

According to Dr Mokua, a political analyst, Rutos visits to Nyanza and Western are parts of his plan to launch projects that are in line with the county expectations as outlined in the presidents plan. The president may use this development card as a political muscle to win a reelection.
