KRA boss to head UDA grassroots Party election.

 


The ruling party in the republic of Kenya is seen to have been began the marathon to rebrand itself for the next coming general election in the year 2027. The United Democratic Alliance is no a bid to ensure that it mantains its grip and even invade in what was originally called  Opposition strongholds.

According to a statement released by the party's secretary general Hon. Sen Cleo Malala, the party held its National Steering committee on 2/04/2024 where it deliberated on several issues. Howeverm its grassroot election agenda carried the day. It delibarated on several organs which will help the party to conduct a freem and fair election for their grassroot leaders. This has been seen as a step to ensure that they emerge strong and also with the highest number of members across the country and ensure it remains the strongest while giving the opposition the sleepless nights. 

In the statement, the party nominated several individuals who will spearhead different party organs during this period. The name of the current chairman of Kenya Revenue Authority has appeared to have topped the list of the individuals given the mandate. Anthony Mwaura who is the KRA chief authority has been mandated with chairing the Party's National Election Board. His counterpart in KpLc Joy Mdivo will lead the Committee for Electoral Dispute Resolution. Hon. Rebecca Tonkei has not been left behind as she has been handed the docket of Internal Dispute Resolution Committee.

The party is planning to conduct its election in four phases. as from 26th april all through to 24th Augusst this year. The meeting was attended by the top most leadership of the party who included the party leader and the deputy party leader.

WIPER PARTY BOSS MEETS BRITISH ENVOY
